I have tried removing my VMDatastore1 in order to recreate it and increase the block size. I am getting the following message ‘ ERROR DURING THE CONFIGURATION OF HOST: DESTROYVMFSDATASTORE: CANT DELETE PARTITION 3 ON LUN vmhba2:0:0’. Is this some sort of registry from when it was first created? On the properties tab there is information under the Extent Device pane relating to Primary Partitions, any help would be very much appreciated.

How do you get to the login prompt on the physical console?  I can press <f1> but it only appears to display console messages.  It does not give me the login prompt.

Hi. I have test.vmdk workstation file. I wand convert for esxserver 4.0 . I tryed it by vmkfstools. i writed like that

vmkfstools -i test.vmdk edomain.vmdk

But i get the error 

[root@ESX Edomain]# vmkfstools -i test.vmdk edomain.vmdk Destination disk format: VMFS zeroedthick Failed to open ‘test.vmdk’: Broken pipe (2097161).

The directory is right

Then i tried to do this instruction

But the problem not resolved. The system cannot recognized the file after operation vmware-vdiskmanager. Please help

Hi. I created task for backup on  vmware sphere. First backup runned and all is fine. Then jib tried second backu but get error : cannor clone virtual machine, because the name exits. I want that the task automatic added the time to the end of virtual machine task name. How can i do it?

Hi. I tryed import phisical server to esx server. I get error

I want to set up two servers in one VMware cluster, but one of the servers has a problem. I keep receiving an error that states, “cmd addnode failed for primary node: Internal AAM Error.” As a result, the agent will not start. Can you please advise a course of action?
